Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - The process of modifying attributes of a website to improve its position on one or more search engines, gaining visibility in front of the target audience.

In simple terms: SEO allows your target customer to find your site using search terms, or keywords, that are most relevant to your product or service.

Up to 85% of all users discover web sites via search engine queries.
55% of all e-commerce transactions originated from a search listing
80-90% of Internet users rely on search engines to find websites.
What we will do?
Keyword and Competitive Analysis :

We begin each new relationship by analyzing the history and current status of both your company web site and its competitors. This understanding the unique framework of each business, we are able to determine a strategic plan and begin our process. The simplest definition of keyword research is finding the keywords related to your Web site, and the analysis of which ones yield the highest return on investment (ROI).

Keyword research consists of at least three major steps:

(1) Discovery - finding as many keywords as possible relating to your Web site. Basically the identification of search terms normally people use to find a site of your kind

(2) ROI analysis - finding the most valuable keywords for your Web site. The most generic keywords are the most widely searched, but also the most competitive, and sometimes bring mediocre conversion rates. Generally, phrases that most accurately describe specific qualities of a site yield the highest ROI.

(3) Competitive analysis - analyzing the strength of competitors for potential keywords. Competitive factors include how attentive sites are to optimization issues and the number of relevant inbound links they have received. This phase will give you an overview of the competitive landscape on any given search term.

This analysis will provide you with your competitors’ strengths and weaknesses along with ranking and marketing information. We also provide you with a Pre Positioning Report that provides a specific look at where you are currently positioned among the major search engines.
This report sets the bar and gives us an opportunity to provide you a “before and after” picture of your progress.

After the initial research is complete, a meeting with the client is arranged to deliver analysis results, discuss the search engine-marketing plan, set goals and determine specific keywords that are beneficial to the site in question.
Site Optimization

At this point we begin to work directly to optimize the content on the web site by identifying the pages, which need to be modified and writing the optimized content (If needed). Site optimization can take anywhere from 15 to 20 business days depending on your site and any special circumstances.

Delivery of Optimized Site
The technical work being complete, we are ready to deliver the optimized content (Compiled Tags) to get it uploaded on to the server. Now the site is ready to be submitted to the search engines.
Site Submission
The site is ready now and the search engine submission process begins. A web technician assigned to your account will hand-submit your site to the major search engines. After the initial submission, we will continue this process on a regular (bi-weekly or monthly) basis.
Our Services are structured in two phases?
Phase I: Initial Setup

This phase is the core of your project and includes any competitive analysis, optimization, initial submission; reporting and consulting you’ve purchased to fulfill your search engine placement needs. This part of your project should be usually completed within 30 days. This may vary depending on the site and any special circumstances.

Phase II: Monthly Maintenance Program
This phase includes the monthly services required to obtain and maintain your search engine placement including submission, monitoring, statistical reporting, and the Link Popularity Project (LPP).

Search engine placement maintenance is very important as the search engines change their placement algorithms, pages get dropped from the search engines, and other sites try to place above you. We recommend an ongoing maintenance program in which we run periodic reports on your placements resubmit any pages that the search engines have dropped and make specific recommendations to you if a change in positioning strategy becomes necessary.

We will keep you informed of our progress by providing you with periodic reports showing how your site is ranking under your targeted search terms in the major search engines.
(Details of monthly maintenance have been provided below)
Your Web site is your business on the Internet and needs constant marketing and advertising to be noticed.

As competition and the search engines' methods in rating Web sites change, you need to adjust and implement promotion activities to keep your Web site placing as high as possible.

We regularly research and test new promotion ideas in order to keep up with this quickly changing industry. With our maintenance program, you are hiring us as your Internet marketing strategist to keep your existing promotions working to their peak potential while continually looking for promotion opportunities to present to you for your consideration.
Various Steps Undertaken for Monthly Maintenance
This phase includes the monthly services required to obtain and maintain your search engine placement including submission, monitoring, statistical reporting, and the Link Popularity Project (LPP).

The four major parts in the ongoing maintenance process have been enlisted below.

1. Index monitoring
Index monitoring is an ongoing and daily process to keep track of the positions you have achieved on various engines on specific keywords. This is a very important part as in search engine change their placement algorithm quiet often and there will be many of the clients competitors want to get on top of the engines. By constantly monitoring we can identify the pages or sections of the sites, which are getting dropped from the index or getting slipped from a particular position. This way we can outline the necessary strategy for the said site to remain on a position, which we gained through setup process.

And one other reason why we should constantly monitor the site placement on engine is because many of the webmasters don’t take the SEO process as a serious and a complex exercise. By this in many cases while updating the sites they might miss out the tags or the suggestions we gave them during the initial setup process. We should identify these kinds of errors and should report to the responsible individual of the company. If we don’t do it the site will ultimately drop from the engine index.

2. Resubmission of dropped or slipped pages, if there’s any
In this phase we should identify the reason why a particular page is dropped, is it because of any policy change? Or a human error while updating the site? We should identify the reason and resubmit the dropped or slipped pages which proper corrections.

3. Maintaining the Link Popularity
Since most of the search engines have moved to Theme based Relevancy scoring algorithm, the Link popularity of a site plays a major role in Search engine positioning. We should maintain the link popularity of a site by a minimum of 5/10. And this value might drop sometime, so we have to constantly monitor and do the necessary things to get the LPP on a satisfactory value (always higher than 5)

There are seven steps to achieve Satisfactory Link Popularity value :
  1. Review your web site, it's content, your target audiences, your current link popularity and your current search engine rankings,
  2. Research your industry prospecting the top portals and web sites with the greatest market relevance,
  3. Prioritize prospects by a combination of factors including their link popularity scores and their present search engine positioning,
  4. Develop a static html link page replicating the exact look and feel of your existing web site with links to all quality prospects,
  5. Implement a campaign to personally contact each prospect explaining the benefits of interlinking and requesting that they provide a link to your web site,
  6. Once links have been posted, we will submit each web page with a link to your site. Additionally, we will submit your web site to the top directories including the Open Directory, Yahoo and LookSmart. (Yahoo and LookSmart fees are additional)
  7. Quantify and monitor each web site that offers a link to your web site.
4. Monthly keyword Position report generation
In this phase we have to generate the keyword position report of the targeted keywords in major engines. The keywords and the engines will be same, as on the Pre positioning report we have given to the client be we have started the project. Apart from the Targeted words there will be many more associated keywords or phrases also might have come up on the engines. We can take a report of the associated phrases too and can be sent to the client as additional phrases we have achieved. This report generation has to be done manually as in many search engines and directories don’t allow any third party software to get into their database. So the result you will be getting from an automated query might be different from the result you are getting through a manual query. So always make the Report manually.

Advantages of Search Engine Optimization :

SEO in the long term is more cost effective- as time passes cost reduces. With PPC cost can only go up.
SEO provides incredible ROI. (PPC bids are expensive, but SEO in the long run brings a steady flow of traffic without too much cost)
SEO can lasts for years. Many sites do well several years after they’ve made the investment in the site with a good SEO. PPC on the other hand disappears the second you stop bidding on results.
SEO has a better chance of delivering return customers. SEO is more about what the customer is looking for. PPC is more about what the company thinks the market wants.
SEO puts the Web site owner in the drivers seat- PPC puts the search engine in the drivers seat.

Disadvantages of Search Engine Optimization:

We SEO normally takes a relative long time to market. It can take a few weeks or months for a good optimization campaign to show results. SEO depends on the optimization specialists ability and the competition that exists for that phrase.

Advantages of PPC ( Pay per Click ) or Sponsored Listings :
PPC is easy. You do not need a lot of knowledge and skills for PPC.
PPC is direct market access- limited competition for eyeballs.
PPC results are immediate.
Disadvantages of PPC :
95% of the clicks are “free information seeking” only and never buy.
Quick loss of top Placement in favor of anyone who is willing to pay more.
PPC favors big businesses with large market budgets. It requires a constant and ever increasing investment in order to maintain rank.
PPC when done by amateurs can lower the ROI.
SEO traffic will keep coming continuously even if you don’t continue optimizing and submitting your site. The minute your PPC or banner advertising budget runs out, the traffic stops.
So which is better SEO or PPC? Well- if speed is more important than cost, PPC wins. If cost is your priority, SEO comes out far ahead.
